    The HP Z6 G5 supports one Intel Xeon W-series 4th Generation (LGA4677) processor for the ultimate performance.

    Hyper-Threading support allows two threads to run simultaneously on each core - recognizing up to 72 total cores, 36 real and 36 virtual. Turbo Boost support automatically boosts the processor speed based on workload - so if an application is only using one of the cores it will automatically increase the speed of the core in use and turn off the unused cores.

    Memory

    The HP Z6 G5 has 8 DIMM Slots supporting up to 1TB of DDR5 4800MT/s ECC Memory. Intel Xeon W-series 4th generation processors have 8 memory channels.

    The HP Z6 G5 has two onboard PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots supporting NVMe SSDs.

    PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs have read/write speeds averaging 6,000MB/s.

    512GB to 2TB drives are Samsung. 4TB and 8TB drives are Sabrent or Corsair.
