    The HP Z4 G6i supports one Intel Xeon 600 series (LGA4710) processor, up to 300 watt TDP, for the ultimate performance.

    Hyper-Threading support allows two threads to run simultaneously on each core - recognizing up to 96 total cores, 48 real and 48 virtual. Turbo Boost support automatically boosts the processor speed based on workload - so if an application is only using one of the cores it will automatically increase the speed of the core in use and turn off the unused cores.

    Memory

    The HP Z4 G6i has 8 DIMM Slots supporting up to 1TB of DDR5 6400MT/s ECC Memory. Intel Xeon 600 series processors have 8 memory channels.

    Storage | M.2 Onboard

    The HP Z4 G6i has four onboard PCIe Gen5 M.2 slots supporting NVMe SSDs.

    PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs have read/write speeds averaging 12,000MB/s.

    We stock new condition, highest performance, Samsung and Western Digital drives.

    Storage | M.2 Add

    Four additional M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen5 SSDs can be added to the HP Z4 G6i via:

    • One HP Z Turbo Quad Pro PCIe Gen5 x16 internal NVMe carrier; four drives per adapter
    • One HP Front-Accessible Hot-Swappable external flexbay; two drives per flexbay
