Lead Time

Typical lead times based on order size:
1 to 3 workstations → order will ship in 1-2 weeks
Up to 10 workstations → order will ship in 1-3 weeks
Up to 50 workstations → order will ship in 3-6 weeks

If time is of the essence, email us at sales@superworkstations.com with a configuration ID or quote ID for a specific lead time. We also offer FedEx Overnight and expedited LTL shipments for rush orders.

Quotes

You can create a formal quote using our automated quote creation tool. Create your workstation configurations. Add them to the cart. At the Cart page, select ‘Create Quote’.

Quotes are valid for 30 days due to price volatility.

If your quote has expired, contact us at sales@superworkstations.com for a quote extension.

If you would like to process payment for an existing quote,

  1. Visit Superworkstations.com
  2. Select the ‘Load Quote / Config’ link on the top left.
  3. Enter the Quote ID to view the quote.
  4. Select ‘Load Quote into Cart’ to checkout.
  5. At the Cart page, select your payment method to complete the checkout process.

Payment

We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience.

Credit / Debit Card – Select the credit card icons at the Checkout page. Our payment processor is PayPal, so rest assured your credit card information will remain secure. A PayPal account is not required. After inputting your payment information, select 'Checkout as Guest' at the bottom of the PayPal popup.

PayPal – If you have a PayPal account with stored payment methods, select PayPal to login to your PayPal account.

ACH – We offer a 3% discount on the order total for ACH payments. We accept ACH payments from domestic business checking accounts only. We recommend the ACH payment method if you have a domestic business checking account and would like to save 3%. ACH payments usually clear in 3 business days.

Wire Transfer – We offer a 3% discount on the order total for bank wire transfer payments. We recommend wire transfers for international orders and higher value pre-payment orders. If you would like to pay with wire transfer - submit your order, then we will email you our wire instructions. Domestic wires usually clear in 1 business day. International wires usually clear in 2 business days.

Purchase Order (PO) – Purchase Orders with NET terms are accepted from US government entities (federal, local, and state) as well as major corporations. Smaller corporations will be granted NET terms on a case-by-case basis. Send your Purchase Order request to sales@superworkstations.com.

Financing

We do not offer direct financing. For financing of smaller orders, we recommend the ‘Buy now, Pay later’ program from PayPal. For financing of larger orders, we recommend a few companies catering to business equipment financing. View our Financing page for contacts and more details.

Volume Orders

Pricing – volume orders will ultimately result in a lower cost for us – lower product cost due to distribution discounts and less preparation time due to assembly line efficiency. We will pass on the savings to you. Email us at sales@superworkstations.com with your configuration requirements and we’ll create a custom quote.

Lead time – will vary depending on the volume and specific configuration. Send us your configuration ID or quote ID for a specific lead time.

Shipping – volume orders will be professionally palletized with stretch wrap and strapping for safe arrival at your location. If time is of the essence, we can fulfill the order as prepared with multiple partial shipments upon request.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for import duties and taxes. Visit the duty calculator to estimate the import tax in your country. Once the package arrives in your country, FedEx will contact you to collect the fees prior to delivery.

International customers are responsible for warranty repair shipping costs.

Workstation power supplies support international voltages. We supply power cords only for North American style wall sockets. Power cords are universal and can be purchased locally for your wall socket. We recommend 16 AWG power cords for workstations.

Build Process

Workstations are configured-to-order since majority of configurations are unique.

Base specification workstations are sourced directly from the manufacturer and authorized distributors. Components are sourced from authorized distribution channels.

Once you place your order,

  • A base specification workstation is configured to the specifications you order.
  • With all the hardware installed, the workstation is stress tested.
  • System BIOS is updated to the latest available.
  • Operating system with all updates and hardware drivers are installed.
  • The workstation is power cycled a few times to confirm the system is performing smoothly.
  • The workstation is packaged in the original manufacturer packaging and shipped your way.

We offer turn-key systems for Autodesk Flame, Ansys, VDI servers, as well as other applications with more complicated setups. Contact us if you require an application installation or turn-key setup.

Location

SpecialtyIT Inc. is based in Los Angeles, CA – just a few miles from the 101 and 405 intersection near to Sherman Oaks. We do not have a retail store front, but you are welcome to pickup locally at our warehouse if you are based in Los Angeles as well.

Vendors

Workstations are sourced directly from the manufacturers and authorized distributors. For example, Ingram Micro and Tech Data.

Retail and OEM components such as Intel CPUs, Samsung SSDs or Kingston RAM are sourced from respective authorized distributors and partners.

Workstations carry Specialty Inc. warranty and their respective manufacturer warranty.

Pricing

Our priority is professionalism, efficiency, and support – before and after the order. Our pricing is competitive, and relative to delivering a quality and reliable product with knowledge and experience to back it.

Our pricing may be higher than sellers on eBay with low overhead, less experience, and a subpar product. Our pricing may be lower than vendors with high marketing budgets. We spend only 3% of our net revenue on marketing because 50% of our business comes from repeat customers.

Our goal is to have competitive pricing relative to our product and service.

Shipping

New workstations are shipped in original retail packaging. For higher value configurations and international shipments, we double box the packaging for additional security and durability. This will also allow you to store the retail packaging in case there is a need to ship the workstation in the future.

Domestic shipping

FedEx Ground:

  • West Coast: 1-2 business days
  • Central States: 3-4 business days
  • East Coast: 4-5 business days

FedEx Overnight is also offered at checkout.

Volume orders will ship palletized with FedEx Freight Priority.

International shipping

  • FedEx Express International (1-3 business days)
  • Customs delays (depending on country) may result in delivery within 2-6 business days.
  • Import taxes / duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Visit the duty calculator to estimate the import tax in your country. Once the package arrives at the FedEx distribution center in your country, FedEx will contact you to collect the fees prior to delivery.

Volume orders will ship palletized with expedited LTL Freight.

Returns

We offer a 14 day return window, starting the day FedEx shows delivery to your location. Returns will be accepted only if the item is in the original condition, with all accessories and original packaging. A RMA (return merchandise authorization) is required for return. To submit a return request, email us at sales@superworkstations.com, with the invoice number, purchase date, and reason for return. We will respond within 1 business day with the next steps.

If your workstation has an issue during the return window and you would like to return, we will supply a prepaid return shipping label. Once we receive the workstation at our location, we will verify everything is as it was shipped, then refund your payment in full.

If you would like to return due to buyer’s remorse, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the total and shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer.

If your order has not met your expectations, please contact us. Our goal is to deliver workstations as configured, with optimal performance for your professional applications. We will do our best to resolve any issue, efficiently.

Warranty

Workstations carry a 2 year Specialty Inc. warranty.

Workstations also retain their respective manufacturer warranty for the base components including the case, motherboard, power supply, and processor heatsink.

Extended warranty options are available. Pricing is based on a percentage of the workstation value. For example, an extended 1 year warranty plan for a $5,000 workstation may cost 10% of the value, or $500. Contact us for a quote.

All workstations are thoroughly stress tested prior to shipment. Based on statistics over the last 5 years, 0.6% of workstations have a hardware related issue during the warranty period…pretty rare.

Warranty claims are a priority and resolved efficiently. First, our technician will troubleshoot the issue with you via phone, email, or remote desktop at your convenience. If faulty hardware is found, our goal will be to minimize your downtime. If the component is easy to replace (such as a drive, memory module, or graphics card), we will ship you the replacement component with installation instructions. Once resolved, we will email you a prepaid shipping label to ship us the original component. If the component requires a technician for replacement, we will either 1) arrange manufacturer or a 3rd party servicing company to replace the component at your location, or 2) cover round-trip shipping of the workstation to our location.

Support

Whether you are within or outside of your warranty period, we want your workstation to be an effective tool for your business. We offer phone, email, and remote desktop support. Our technicians have years of experience troubleshooting workstations, so we will be able to quickly diagnose and resolve any issue to minimize your downtime.

If your workstation is within the warranty period and we diagnose faulty hardware, we will cover the replacement cost under warranty. See the ‘Warranty’ section for details. If your workstation is no longer under warranty, we will help troubleshoot the problem, then offer you the replacement component at cost, or help you locate the correct replacement component if we do not have stock, and even provide installation instructions.

Refurbished: Pulled from corporate environment in working condition. Tested upon arrival at our location and also after customization. Cosmetically grade A or B. Overall in good condition, but could have light scratches / scuffs. Ships in double-wall brown box with durable packaging material.
